The CSV-1000-1.5CPD is a special test face designed specifically for Food and Drug Administration clinical trials which require the testing of contrast sensitivity at 1.5 cycles/degree under mesopic lighting conditions
The CSV-1000S test face is widely used for in or out-of-office screenings and for cataract evaluation. This test presents standard visual acuity from 20/15 to 20/200, two rows of spatial frequencies (6 and 12 cycles/degree) and a real-world driver’s scene.
The CSV-1000 can hang on the wavewall, sit on a table or hang from a rolling floor stand. The device can also be used in conjunction with neutral density lenses or trial frames which provide the ability to test mesopic contrast sensitivity, acuity and contrast sensitivity with glare. See the images below for these accessories
A variety of low contrast acuity tests can be used with the CSV-1000 or CSV-1000HGT. These tests are used primarily for screening, cataract documentation or in clinical trials. Please see the pictures and images below to learn more about the various low contrast acuity tests available from VectorVision. Other contrast levels and test types are available upon request.
