Bishop Alignment Prism Set
The Bishop Dual Prism Alignment System is a new tool developed to provide advantages in measuring large-angle strabismus prior to correction. In strabismus, one eye looks directly at the object being viewed while the other eye is misaligned inward (esotropia), outward (exotropia), upward (hypertropia), or downward (hypotropia). When the misalignment of the eyes is large the strabismus is called “large-angle,” referring to the angle of deviation between the line of sight of the straight eye and that of the misaligned eye. Accurately measuring the degree of strabismus using prisms is critically important when preparing for strabismus correction.

Vergence Facility Prism 12D 3D Unmounted
These vergence prisms quickly screen for binocular vision. Use these to get the patient to cycle between the two prisms up to 15 cycles per minute. Use at 16″ (40 cm) with a 20/30 near point line. Prisms are 12D base-out and 3D base-in and 1.5″ high (38mm).

Individual Prims on a Stick
These stick-mounted prisms stay cleaner and avoid fingerprints compared to square prisms. The less often they need to be cleaned, the longer these will last. These prisms range from 0.5 up to 50 diopters.

Ultra thin, 1mm Fresnel Prisms are ideal for trial fittings. Press-On prism can applied to the back surface of one or both of the patient’s eyeglass lenses with just water. It can be applied to the entire lens or to particular region of the lens.
The 3M Press-On Prism can easily be removed.

Ultra thin, 1mm Press on Aspheric Lenses may be used temporarily or long term for Rx correction. You can apply a Press-On lenses to the back surface of one or both lenses of the patient’s eyeglasses with just water and can be applied to any region of the lens. These Press-On Aspheric Lens are used for refractive +/- correction- they are not prisms. They offer a simple, therapeutic, inexpensive way to correct several visual disorders. They provide a more comfortable, more cosmetically appealing treatment, without any additional noticeable weight or thickness to the spectacle! Great for in-office Rx change trials.
