Vergence Facility Prism 12D 3D Unmounted
These vergence prisms quickly screen for binocular vision. Use these to get the patient to cycle between the two prisms up to 15 cycles per minute. Use at 16″ (40 cm) with a 20/30 near point line. Prisms are 12D base-out and 3D base-in and 1.5″ high (38mm).

Bernell’s BCFSET2 is a set of random dot stereograms, which can be used with virtually any stereoscope. These stereograms have been designed so that one eye sees a picture with a slightly different set of random dots that the picture seen by the other eye. The disparity in the dots causes the pattern to stand out from the random dot background; but only if both eyes are working together.
Features 12 sets of random dot figures for use with the Variable Prismatic Stereoscope/Cheiroscope, Bernell Variable Prismatic Trainer and Bernell-O-Scope (or other stereoscopes). Provides variety and added difficulty to the orthoptic techniques.

Bernell Functional Binocular Assessment Test Booklet FBAT
The Bernell Functional Binocular Assessment Test booklet, or Bernell FBAT™, is designed as a convenient and portable, anaglyph tool for assessing various aspects of binocularity with many different clinic populations. It can be an effective tool for working with older infants, toddlers, and non-verbal patients who will often grab in the air for the stereoscopic figures appearing in front of the page, demonstrating both stereopsis and localization. Targets present a range of binocular challenges from basic simultaneous perception to more sophisticated stereopsis, Varying target sizes, different fusion locks, and reference targets allow the examiner to probe and categorize binocular aspects of strabismic performance. Design of the test plates was developed in cooperation with Dr. Gregory Kitchener and Dr. Paul Harris based on their clinical experiences working with a broad variety of patient populations.
The test booklets are conveniently printed so that the descriptions, instructions, expected responses, and suggestions face the examiner while the patient is viewing the corresponding test plate. This easy, yet informative, test booklet is a great addition to every practice especially when seeing children, non-verbal patients, or those with strabismus and amblyopia.
The product includes 12 test plates in booklet form with instructions, two pairs of Red/Green Glasses (Adult and Child versions), and two red pointers.

This is a Wheatstone-type stereoscope; a true space fusion trainer with a 40PD Base-In to 50PD Base-Out range. By changing the configuration, the instrument serves as a single oblique mirror stereoscope or cheiroscope. Trains for simultaneous vision, elimination of suppression, ARC, fusion, stereopsis, cheiroscopic drawing skill & development of fusional convergence/divergence reserves. Ultra thin, 1mm Press on Aspheric Lenses may be used temporarily or long term for Rx correction. You can apply a Press-On lenses to the back surface of one or both lenses of the patient’s eyeglasses with just water and can be applied to any region of the lens. These Press-On Aspheric Lens are used for refractive +/- correction- they are not prisms. They offer a simple, therapeutic, inexpensive way to correct several visual disorders. They provide a more comfortable, more cosmetically appealing treatment, without any additional noticeable weight or thickness to the spectacle! Great for in-office Rx change trials.
