The ESV3000™ is equipped with patented internal calibration technology that automatically adjusts its standardized LED output, ensuring precise lighting conditions for clinical trials and vision research. This advanced cabinet is specifically engineered to meet the stringent lighting standards required for ETDRS and LogMAR acuity testing during research.
Advanced Lighting Performance
Unlike outdated fluorescent light cabinets that require frequent maintenance and a warm-up period, the ESV3000™ offers instant calibration with a simple button press. It delivers photopic light levels of 85 cd/m² and mesopic levels of 3 cd/m², as recommended by the Committee for Vision Testing Standards from the National Academy of Sciences and mandated by the FDA for clinical trials. While fluorescent bulbs need to be replaced every 2,000 hours (about once a year), the ESV3000™ features long-lasting LEDs with a lifespan of 20+ years, eliminating the need for replacements and burn-in periods. Simply plug in and start testing immediately.
Designed with a universal power supply, the ESV3000™ can be easily adapted for 100V to 240V, making it ideal for use outside the U.S. without the limitations of traditional fluorescent cabinets that only support 110V input.
