They are plano-convex lenses: the flat (planar) surface is placed on the object to be magnified, and the convex (dome) surface provides the enlargement.

Wide Elastic Strap has an eyelet at each end which is easily threaded thru the thumb screw on each side of the Yoked Prism Frame. Velcro strips permit adjustment of the strap to appropriately adjust to the head of your patient.
